About the role
We are looking for a Lead Platform Engineer to own the internal Kubernetes platform that hundreds of Acme engineers deploy to daily. You will define strategy and lead a small, senior team.
What you'll do
- Set the technical vision for our multi-cluster Kubernetes platform
- Build self-service deployment and golden-path tooling
- Drive reliability, security, and cost efficiency improvements
- Lead and mentor platform engineers
Requirements
- 8+ years in infrastructure or platform engineering
- Deep Kubernetes operations and Go development experience
- Proven leadership of technical initiatives and teams
Nice to have
- Experience with service mesh like Istio and Helm packaging
- Background building internal developer platforms
