About the role
We are hiring a Staff ML Engineer to lead the recommendations platform that powers personalized candidate and job matching across Acme. You will set technical direction for ranking and retrieval systems used by millions of users.
What you'll do
- Design and own large-scale ranking and retrieval models in production
- Drive A/B experiments that move engagement and match-quality metrics
- Mentor ML engineers and raise the bar on modeling rigor
- Partner with product and platform teams to ship end to end
Requirements
- 8+ years building ML systems, with deep recommender or ranking experience
- Strong Python and PyTorch, plus large-scale data tooling like Spark
- Track record shipping models that drive measurable business impact
Nice to have
- Experience with two-tower retrieval or embedding-based search
- Real-time feature store and online serving experience
