What you'll do
- Build and tune learning-to-rank models for search
- Improve retrieval quality and relevance metrics
- Run offline and online evaluations to validate changes
- Work with backend engineers to serve models at scale
Requirements
- 3+ years in ML engineering or relevance/search
- Strong Python and experience with ranking or NLP models
- Familiarity with search infrastructure like Elasticsearch
Nice to have
- Experience with embedding-based retrieval
- Knowledge of TensorFlow or PyTorch serving
